Steve has been an active general practitioner for more than 35 years. He worked regularly with the RCGP, Primary Care Respiratory Society, British Thoracic Society and International Primary Care Group for many years. He is on the PCRS conference organising committee and service development committee as well as being the PCRS Policy Lead. He is on the BTS Council and is a member of the COPD specialist advisory group and a member of the cough guidance group for children and young people. He has more than 300 publications to his name and remains passionate about good quality clinical care across boundaries.
