I qualified in medicine at Liverpool 1992, worked in anaesthetics for a few years then moved into general practice. I’m a GP partner at brownlow health in Liverpool since 2001, I’ve worked in tier three weight management with Aintree hospital since 2007, and I’m the GP advisor to our local NHS psychology out patient eating disorder service. I am passionate about improving services and support for people struggling with weight management and have successfully campaigned to set up services. I am supporting lipoedema uk to improve awareness amongst health care professionals and the availability of help for sufferers.
