Natalie Heighway
Advance Practice Physiotherapist and FCP Facilitator, The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, STW Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub
Natalie qualified as a physiotherapist from Sheffield Hallam University in 2015. After qualifying she spent her Band 5 rotations at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopedic Hospital, before specializing as a Band 6 in Outpatients 2 years later.
The opportunity then arose to set up the first FCP service in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin in 2019, which has grown throughout STW and that's when Natalie took on the role as FCP facilitator for STW primary care workforce and training hub in 2021. She currently works in this role 2 days a week and as an Advance Practice Physiotherapist 3 days a week.
Natalie has also completed a Masters in Trauma and Orthopedics through The University of Salford, Graduating in 2022 and enjoys Netball and Waterskiing in her spare time. She has her own private physiotherapy business for the last 2 years, NJ Physiotherapy.
