Julie is a Dermatology Lecturer Practitioner; a dermatology clinical nurse specialist for 30 years in primary and secondary care. Dermatology Education Partnership Ltd provides dermatology educational projects and training. Her current clinical work for Check4Cancer is in primary care skin cancer assessment clinics. She has worked in several NHS roles and has developed primary care services around the UK. Julie is clinical adviser for The National Eczema Society; and works with other patient support groups, currently ISG and PAPAA. She is a health care writer publishing widely in health care journals; past editor of the BDNG Journal, Dermatological Nursing; and an honorary university lecturer King’s College, London and Oxford Brooks University. Julie is a PCDS committee member, leading the primary care practitioner sub-group and involved with national dermatology projects. Julie is passionate about improving care for people with skin conditions through developing educational initiatives for both healthcare professionals and patients.
