Eve Thrupp
Queen’s Nurse and Lecturer, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Birmingham City University
Eve is a qualified children and young people Nurse, starting her Nursing career at BCU in 2002.
Eve has experience in neonatal care, trauma, and orthopaedics and much of her career has been working in school nursing, and lead nurse safeguarding roles. Eve has worked in both inner city and rural locations gaining experience and having the privilege of supporting families to reach their potential in the home and community setting.
Eve currently works as a lecturer at Birmingham City University, on pre-registration programmes supporting the student nurse journey to qualifying and is passionate about teaching a high standard of nursing care that embeds excellence in patient care.
