With over 25 year’s experience in Primary Care, Carmel developed a special interest in women’s health and is the Contraception & Sexual Health Lead Nurse with the University of Nottingham Health Service, the largest single site General Practice in the UK. Carmel is a Diplomate member of the FSRH, a Faculty Registered Trainer with Letters of Competence in intrauterine contraception and subdermal implant fitting/removal and a non-medical prescriber. She is a member of the Primary Care Women’s Health Forum education committee and Director of Macey SRH Ltd, a platform which provides SRH training and clinical guidance.
