This session will cover paediatric musculoskeletal presentations and will focus on supporting the management of common conditions in primary care, and when to consider referral on to specialist services.

Learning outcomes:

• Increased understanding of the different ways in which children with musculoskeletal problems present to primary care.
• Increased understanding of the differences between adult and paediatric presentations and diagnoses.
• Increased confidence in differentiating between those that can be managed in primary care and those that need referral to specialist services.
• Increased awareness of relevant resources available to support clinicians and patients.
