Lipoedema is literally ‘Hidden In Plain Sight’ to most primary care professionals and can remain undiagnosed for the lifetime of many patients, some of whom may also be healthcare professionals. The RCGPs elearning course on Lipoedema provides training in recognising and diagnosing this distressing and painful condition.  

Lipoedema UK’s mission is to improve diagnosis, support and treatments for people living with Lipoedema. We are a vibrant community of patients, their families living with lipoedema and healthcare professionals working together to remove the lack of knowledge about this Cinderella condition - estimated to affect up to 1 in 10 women.
