The EPT provides information and support to anyone affected by ectopic pregnancy and healthcare professionals who care for them. Our website answers questions on ectopic pregnancy and is medically evidenced and overseen. We provide empathic peer support through email exchanges, phone calls, Zoom groups, and online forum. We support research, providing lived experience perspectives, and engage with influential bodies like government and journalists. We raise awareness of the condition and its impacts and support people through diagnosis, recovery, and if/when they try to conceive again. The NHS signposts to our services. Our "Think Ectopic" campaign is for healthcare professionals in primary and urgent care to remind of the symptoms of ectopic pregnancy and time critical next steps. "Think Ectopic" supports clinicians working at the first point of care for women/people presenting with symptoms, namely GP surgeries, emergency care, urgent/walk in centres, NHS 111, midwives, paramedics, and pharmacies.
